Removal of unwanted fat with a laser beam

Laser liposuction is an officially recognized surgical method used by plastic surgeons around the world. This is the latest concept for shaping the figure using a laser beam. It represents a mini-invasive technique that allows excess fat to be removed in virtually all areas. Laser energy is converted into thermal energy, which damages and dissolves fat cells. The effect is permanent and at the same time includes the possibility of shaping and optimizing the figure. Course of the intervention

Before the procedure, the selected and drawn area is anesthetized with anaesthetic solution. This is followed by the introducing of a very thin laser fibre into the selected subcutaneous fat area and the gradual dissolution of fat cells. In the case of very small particles, the dissolved fat tissue may be left without suctioning them away. They are then gradually absorbed due to natural metabolism.

In the case of larger particles, the procedure is combined with gentle suction. In order to do this, most modern workplaces use the technique of gentle vibration liposuction. The combination of laser lipolysis with this type of suction is currently considered to be the gentlest and the most efficient.

After the procedure, the entry points of the laser fibre are not stitched up, as the traces of them will all but disappear over time. The patient wears elastic undergarments as recommended by the doctor.
